Although not the strongest performance from the team it was a match they thoroughly enjoyed.
The Peregrines had to play their own way today due to the FA's Silent Weekend, all managers and parents were not allowed to communicate with the team during play. Both manager and coaches tried desperately to stay quiet and managed it.
With our new signing Millie joining the team they went out and gave it their all. Due to the silent weekend and with only one substitute, we made good use of the substitutes and turned them into mini managers. This gave complete control to the players and allowed them to see what it is like to take charge of their team and help guide each other through the match.
The positives that came out of the silent weekend were that the girls enjoyed playing their game their way without having to listen to us telling them what we'd like them to do.
Girl of the game was voted for by the team as they had complete control of their game today. This was given to Millie, then followed up by Pace who also voted the same way.
