Fawley Falcons Peregrines are an experienced girls only team who play within the ‘New Forest Girls Football League’.

We are looking for new players to strengthen our team. We train on Monday evenings and matches are played Saturday mornings.

We are looking for enthusiastic team players of all abilities from school years 6 & 7.

Fawley Falcons achieves another year’s charter standard accreditation

Fawley Falcons has achieved Chartered Standard status for another year. Launched in 2001, The FA Charter Standard Programme is The FA’s accreditation scheme for grassroots clubs. Its goal is to raise standards in grassroots football, and to reward clubs which prioritise child protection and high quality coaching. Maintaining the accreditation means maintaining a continual improvement within the club, in terms of coach development, sustainable financial policies, and the critical area of child safeguarding.

As reflected in the standard, Fawley Falcons invests in coaching qualifications for the coaches and managers who work across our 20 teams. All managers have attended at least the FA Level 1 in Coaching Football, with some having attended specialist youth modules or goalkeeping courses. A number of coaches will be working on the FA level 2 modules this year, to ensure we continue to improve the coaching environment for the players.

The club’s stated aim is to achieve the next level of accreditation, that of a FA Charter Standard Development Club, by the start of the 2018/19 season.

We believe that by delivering in a safe, friendly, environment we can the fun back into football, while helping the players develop their love of the game.”

Child Welfare

The CWO (CHILD WELFARE OFFICER) is responsible for coordinating and delivering the Child Protection agenda for the Club. The safeguarding children policy, anti-bullying policy and equality policy.

We have responsible recruitment processes in place including the taking up of references and submitting appropriately qualified and checked in line with FA Charter Standard Guidelines which include  a rigorous process of checks and screening of all club managers, trainers and volunteers.

The CWO ensures that all teams operate within guidelines laid down by charter status and that the welfare and safety of children are paramount and without compromise.
